Directions to Kestrel
Kestrel is in San Mateo, California, on the mid-Peninsula, roughly between San Francisco and San Jose. If you are driving to Kestrel, both the 101 and 280 expressways will serve. Following are general directions from the expressways. You may also go to Mapquest for door-to-door directions.
From the North
Via 101
  • Take the CA-92 West/Fashion Island Blvd. exit toward Half Moon Bay
  • Take the Alameda de las Pulgas exit after approximately 1 mile
  • Stay to the right on the Alameda de las Pulgas exit, heading toward Borel Avenue
  • Make a right on Borel Avenue (oncoming traffic does not stop)
  • After approximately 1 block, the first building on your right is 411 Borel
  • You may park either in the lot just before the building or the lot just after
From the North
Via 280
  • Take the CA-92 East exit toward San Mateo/Hayward
  • Take the Alameda de las Pulgas exit after approximately 3 miles
  • Stay in the middle lane on the Alameda de las Pulgas exit
  • Make a left at the light, which is Alameda de las Pulgas
  • Pass the next light and get into the right lane
  • Make a right at the first stop sign, which is Barneson
  • Make the next right which is Tilia
  • Make the next left which is Borel (oncoming traffic must stop, but often doesn't)
  • After approximately 1 block, the first building on your right is 411 Borel
  • You may park either in the lot just before the building or the lot just after
From the South
Via 101
  • Take the CA-92 West exit toward Hayward/San Mateo Br/Half Moon Bay
  • Stay to the left of the exit, going toward Half Moon Bay
  • Take the Alameda de las Pulgas exit after approximately 1 mile
  • Stay to the right on the Alameda de las Pulgas exit, heading toward Borel Avenue
  • Make a right on Borel Avenue (oncoming traffic does not stop)
  • After approximately 1 block, the first building on your right is 411 Borel
  • You may park either in the lot just before the building or the lot just after
From the South
Via 280
  • Take the CA-92 East exit toward San Mateo/Hayward
  • Take the Alameda de las Pulgas exit after approximately 3 miles
  • Stay in the middle lane on the Alameda de las Pulgas exit
  • Make a left at the light, which is Alameda de las Pulgas
  • Pass the next light and get into the right lane
  • Make a right at the first stop sign, which is Barneson
  • Make the next right which is Tilia
  • Make the next left which is Borel (oncoming traffic must stop, but often doesn't)
  • After approximately 1 block, the first building on your right is 411 Borel
